1.Always use a soft bristle toothbrush for a thorough but gentle cleaning. Don’t forget to brush after each meal, or at least twice a day.
2.Hold your brush at a 45 degree angle with the bristles pointing towards the gum line. Start by brushing from the outside of the back teeth with a gentle back-and-forth motion. Brush for about ten seconds and then proceed to the next area until all the teeth has been cleaned. Repeat the above procedure on the inside of the teeth.
3.Chewing surfaces: hold the brush flat and brush the teeth with a gentle scrubbing motion.
4.The inside of the front teeth: tilt the brush vertically and start brushing the inside surfaces using a back-and forth horizontal motion for about ten seconds. Repeat until all surfaces have been cleaned.
5.Don’t forget to replace your old toothbrush every 3-4 months.
